The "Cobra" was due for an upgrade...
Out with the old and in with the new..
Athlon XP1800 and an Epox 8K7A+

Originally, I had the drives hidden,
but when I refitted it, I decided to leave the drives open, this
time. |
|
Interior is still pretty much the same.
The biggest problem is that I also use this computer for rendering and I
needed a lot of drive space - 4 drives in RAID. |
|
The first part was trying to figure out
how to fit the 4 drives in there as this is a smaller case. However, the
Lian Li's have great engineering and with some master and slaving, they
went in just fine. There is a LOT of wiring in this case.. LOL |
|
The Visiontek G Force 3 still works
great and I've not found a game yet that can put it through it's
paces. I'll probably wait until the G4's come out or the next gen
of the Radeon's after the 8500's. I'm at the point where this
thing is really overkill when it comes to games --or anything else, for
that matter! |
|
Again, another Volcano 5 - this case is
really quiet, too. I rarely run the side induction ports as well. |

|
If needed.. they're here. |
|
This system really is reliable, too.
Win2k Pro is an amazing OS... |
